Filling in the Medicare Gaps

Medicare Supplements (Medigap)

Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Plans are health insurance plans sold by private insurance companies to fill the “gaps” in Original Medicare. Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policies help pay some or most of the health care costs that Original Medicare doesn’t cover. If you have Original Medicare and have a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policy, then Medicare and your Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policy will pay both their shares of covered health care costs.
